Predictions aren't always accurate,
yet they offer us the comforting illusion that we know more about the future
than we really do. Other times, they can be entertaining asides for the people
who want a diversionfrom reality. Whether the matter of concern is hope or
despair, boom or bust or any other condition; predictions are what sustain our
imagination.
Since no one is really qualified to make predictions, I
cannot be blamed for any inaccuracy.
2013: Phones overtake PCs as the dominant technology
platform.

humanity.
2016: After much boredom, the phones leave our galaxy in
search for adventure.
2017: Mississippi secedes from the Union, because they
believe the government if becoming too socialist.
2018: Mississippi rejoins the Union, due to being bankrupt.
2019: TVs are completely discarded and a large pile of them
are sent to Sun for annihilation.
2020: The global economy collapses and Goldman Sachs takes
over the world. Everyone is forced to wear light blue clothing.
2022: The zombie virus is created and spreads throughout the
globe.
2023: Zombie Reagan returns and is elected President. He
puts forth pro-zombie legislation.
2025: The zombie apocalypse draws to an end for some reason.
2027: Generators are sent to Mars in order to instigate
terraforming. It is also bombed in order to release water from the ice caps.
2030: The people of Earth send other people to the Moon and
Mars in order to start colonies.
2032: The colonies revolt due to unfair taxing.
2033: No new music is created causing a worldwide panic.
2035: Time travelers arrive and warn the populace of the end
of the world set to occur in 2040.
2039: The driverless car is invented along with
teleportation devices.
2040: Nothing happens. It turns out the time travelers were
playing a practical joke.
As I said before, these predictions may or may not come
true, but I have plenty more in store just in case.
