Touch - "Enemy of My Enemy" Review: It's All Connected

"He has a thing for numbers"

The search for Amelia continues as Martin meets up with Calvin Norburg to get some answers. He tells Martin that they need a special red access card in order to access Aster Corps’s secret files. The only person who can help them is then suddenly arrested in Pakistan because of the company and the duo attempt to save her. Lucy and Jake follow the lead of a suicidal and guilt-ridden woman: Sophia, whose sister was a 36 and killed by Guillermo, the zealous religious guy, several years ago. As both race against time to fix the wrongs they were literally just handed to them moments ago, we look into Amelia’s own captivity and her time with the librarian lady from the previous episode.

Martin, under the guise of reporter Martin Bishop tracks down the prisoner’s husband and eventually contacts a Pakistani official who gets her released. Lucy rescues Sophia at the last second from a truck and the two talk about her sister’s murder, and her self-inflicted blame for not preventing it. Martin and Lucy then meet up at Trevor’s place and share information about what happened. Lucy reveals her knowledge on the crazy Spanish guy and suspects he may have been after Amelia. Martin dismisses this and eventually enrolls Jake in a nearby school.

To conclude, the group is now a step closer to finding Amelia, but will Martin realize that Calvin is holding her captive? Also, will the authorities ever catch Martin? After all, he can’t keep up this guise forever, and Aster Corps is almost always successful in getting rid of people. Will there be a clash between them and Guillermo. Is he already on his way to get Jake? I’m confident that some if not all of them will be answered next episode, and by the looks of the new preview that may be so.
